Who we are

Aarvish Global LTD ("Aarvish", "we", "us") is a water technology company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.aarvish.ca, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Questions about this policy, or about information we hold about you, go to operations@aarvish.ca or +1 204-880-3526.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number and message you enter. If you attach a file to an enquiry, we receive that file. We use this solely to respond to you and to manage any project that follows.

Information collected automatically

Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. These are used to operate and secure the site and are not used to build a profile of you.

Cookies and tracking

Aarvish does not run advertising trackers. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-preserving service that counts visits without cookies, without a device fingerprint and without building a profile of you. It records the page requested, the referring site, your browser and operating system, and a country-level location derived from your IP address; your IP address itself is not stored and no identifier follows you between visits or between sites. Because it sets no cookie and collects no personal information, it runs without requiring your consent. The data is not sold or shared, and we do not sell personal information.

Plausible processes this data on servers in the European Union. Their privacy policy is at plausible.io/privacy, and their data policy at plausible.io/data-policy. If you prefer not to be counted at all, enabling Do Not Track in your browser stops this site from loading the analytics script.

Some third-party services we embed may set their own cookies once loaded:

  • YouTube — pages containing embedded video load content from YouTube, which may set cookies and receive your IP address.
  • Google Fonts — typefaces are served from Google's font CDN, which receives your IP address as part of the request.
  • jsDelivr and cdnjs — stylesheet and script libraries are served from these content delivery networks.

You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not prevent you from reading the site or contacting us.

How we use your information

  • To answer enquiries and provide quotes, proposals and technical information.
  • To deliver and support systems and services you have engaged us for.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
  • To keep the website secure and functioning.

We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated marketing without asking you first.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only where necessary: with service providers who host our website and email under confidentiality obligations; with professional advisers; and where we are required to by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting relationship, and thereafter only as required for legal, accounting or reporting obligations. Server logs are kept for a short operational period. You may ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.

Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law, you may ask us to:

  • confirm what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete information we no longer have a valid reason to keep;
  • withdraw consent for a use you previously agreed to.

Write to operations@aarvish.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal details through the contact form.

Children

This site is aimed at organisations and professional enquiries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Which laws apply

Aarvish operates from Manitoba, Canada. This policy is written to meet:

  • Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which governs our handling of personal information in the course of commercial activity;
  • Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25. We publish this site in French and expect enquiries from Quebec, so we apply Law 25's requirements — including a designated privacy officer, breach reporting and data portability — to everyone, not only Quebec residents;
  • the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where we deal with partners or enquiries in the European Economic Area.

Where these differ, we apply the stricter standard rather than the minimum.

Privacy officer

The person accountable for personal information at Aarvish Global LTD is the Director of Operations, reachable at operations@aarvish.ca or +1 204-880-3526, Aarvish Global LTD, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Send access requests, corrections, deletions and complaints to that address. We acknowledge within five business days and respond substantively within 30 days.

Where your information is stored

Our website and email are operated by third-party providers, and their servers may be located outside Manitoba and outside Canada. Where information is stored or processed in another country, it is subject to that country's laws, including lawful access by its authorities. We use providers that contractually commit to protecting the information they hold for us. If you would like to know the current hosting location before sending us anything sensitive, ask first.

If something goes wrong

If personal information we hold is lost, accessed without authorisation, or disclosed in a way that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will:

  • contain the incident and assess what was affected;
  • notify you directly, without unreasonable delay;
  • report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and, where Law 25 applies, to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec;
  • keep a register of confidentiality incidents, as Law 25 requires.

Automated decisions and profiling

We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile visitors. Enquiries are read and answered by a person.

Portability

You may ask us for the personal information you gave us in a structured, commonly used electronic format, or ask us to transfer it to another organisation where that is technically feasible. In practice this means the contents of your enquiry and our correspondence about it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.

Note: this policy describes our actual practice as of the date above. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. If your jurisdiction imposes additional requirements, contact us and we will address them directly.
